Maintaining Precise Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) is critical to virtually every industry, from financial services to wireless communications to autonomous vehicles. And while GPS and GNSS are exceptional, they’re not infallible – which makes CORS essential for the delivery of assured PNT, with high accuracy.
Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) Network provides Precise Positioning (less than 5cm accuracy) effortlessly to users in real time, apart from providing A Single Reference Framework throughout the country to avoid data mismatch (that is prevalent with establishing base stations on different location at different times)
NeoGeo in association with Trimble and Survey of India (SoI) has established CORS Network in 17 states, consisting of over 552 stations – part of building Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) for India. NeoGeo’ team designed and developed the components locally to supplement Trimble’ GNSS Technology, from Communication Network, Hardware, Power System, to Enclosure Boxes, to make the effort proudly Make in India.
NeoGeo constructed and commissioned each individual station, taking care of Logistics, Connectivity, Powering and Integration with the Control Center for projects of national importance like High-Speed Railways. NeoGeo also maintains over 1200 CORS stations.
During the course of these vast installations, NeoGeo has developed a holistic process and project management methodology in driving such an effort from multiple locations. NeoGeo is the only team, which has done it successfully and can do it again and again.
